World Whiskies Awards 2012 – The Winners
Japanese whisky continued its dominance of World Whiskies Awards this year; with Suntory scooping one of the top titles and Nikka securing the blended malt title for the fourth year running. For the first time a South African blend, Three Ships, took the title of World’s Best Blended Whisky.
More than 300 whiskies battled during three intensive blind tasting rounds for the coveted titles of the ‘2012 World’s Best Whiskies’….and 2013 is best blending whiskey HIBIKI, also the same distillery.

You can visit Yamazaki ,and visit Yamazaki Distillery for a minimum charg, visitors can sample whiskies that can only be enjoyed at the distillery, including unusual vintage component or raw whiskies and unblended whiskies. The tasting counter offers about 100 varieties of whisky, making it the ultimate spot to try single malt whiskies from around the world while comparing and enjoying their distinctive differences. You’re sure to find one that suits your palate!
